What a great experience! Rick made me feel comfortable from start to finish, had a nice chat about horror films over a cuppa and the work he's created over the years. This was hands down one of the most fun experiences I've ever had and I cannot recommend it enough. I'm a very awkward person around cameras, but Rick was very patient with me and helped me feel comfortable through out. As someone who is a plus size girlie, I didn't think I'd feel 'sexy' or anything like that, but I felt so awesome! It was quite empowering, if I'm honest. We brought our Son with us and we really appreciated how Rick interacted with him. Showing him all sorts of cool stuff. Our kid is very much into horror, so I'm glad he learned all sorts of stuff.
Jo, who l did my make-up, is wonderful! I felt very eased up during my interaction with them. Make up looked so good, I was gutted I had to wash it off lol.
The whole experience was one I would do again. Thank you, Rick- You were great.

This was my first time working with Rick, and I couldn't be happier. I loved playing the feral vampire, and Rick was incredibly helpful, showing me how to pose and guiding me in finding my "monster" within. I felt comfortable at all times and had great fun! My partner came with me, and Rick included him in the role of 'my dinner', which was great! He had a lot of fun as well. All the pictures are beautiful, and I am so happy with the end result. It was one of my best photo shoot experiences, and I am sure I will be back soon! Thank you!

Working with Rick is always amazing! Pre comms are always spot on and the photoshoot ran smoothly from start to finish.
This time I went for a rotting zombie themed photoshoot and the results are INCREDIBLE! Rick is always welcoming ideas - in this case I brought a scythette and my partner who also contributed to some captures!
The make up session took some time, but it only gave us a chance to chat and have a laugh :)
The SFX make up is outstanding and Rick attention to detail makes every photo iconic!
There's a reason why I keep coming back: no one does horror like HorrifyMe and it's always a guaranteed success. I'm already thinking my next photoshoot!

Rick was so patient with my girls and they had an absolute blast learning about how the photos were done, and asking endless questions that Rick was more than happy to answer. Our experience at Horrify Me was absolutely amazing. Rick made us feel very comfortable. He explained the whole process, showed us some of his amazing work, props and treasures. He made sure we were comfortable with all the aspects of our shoot. He was amazing with my 11 old daughter, got her involved and made sure she had lots of fun. It was an amazing, funny and very sticky day. Rick is a very talented guy and he made sure we got exactly what we signed up for :)

Shooting with Rick was an absolute dream come true, I've been a long time fan of his work but never expected Rick to be so kind, patient and considerate.
I felt completely at ease throughout the shoot and Rick gave excellent pointers and pose direction whilst also letting me come up with some of my own poses.
Rick clearly prioritised my comfort and safety throughout the entire shoot which is greatly appreciated when I was covered in red syrup in a kinda chilly studio space.
The images at the end of our shoot are nothing less than spectacular. I Would love to work together again.

This was my second time shooting with Rick at Horrify Me UK, and despite living on the other side of the country, I didn't hesitate to book in again. His work speaks for itself. Bold, original, and unlike anything I've ever experienced in a photoshoot. His expertise in lighting, posing, and the finest details (down to the perfect drip of blood) is truly unmatched.
From the moment I arrived, Rick made me feel completely at ease. Welcoming me with a lovely brew and creating a comfortable, professional atmosphere. This was my first nude shoot, but within minutes, I forgot I was even doing it. His professionalism and approachability made the entire process feel effortless.
I received an edited preview the very next day, followed by the full set just days later and I'm absolutely over the moon with the results. The images look like I stepped straight out of a horror film. Gritty, theatrical, gory, yet strangely beautiful. Rick is truly one of a kind, and his talent is undeniable.
Thank you for an incredible experience, Rick. You are insanely talented, and I can't wait for the next shoot!

Bit of a late review but I absolutely loved my shoot and it is still one of my favourite shoot experiences to date.
Rick is a true professional and amazing at his craft, he kindly picked me up from the station and I loved hearing about how his business started and what a success he has made of it.
He made sure my whole experience was completely amazing from start to finish, I had so much fun and seeing the inner workings of how all of Rick's amazing images were achieved is so interesting.
I achieved exactly what I wanted and my images back were completely horrifying! In the best way. I still look at them quite often and tell people what a brilliant time I had, I recommend to anyone who will listen and hope to return in the near future for more amazing images that I can be proud of for life.

Approaching the studio as anyone would be, I was so nervous and didn't know what to expect, but I loved every single minute.
Jodie did my make up and wow I looked stunning, and she also helped throughout the shoot with applying the good stuff... blood!
And Rick is just amazing at what he does, I was so comfortable the whole way through the shoot, with him instructing how to pose.
Seeing how the photos have turned out I can't quite believe how awesome they are and it's such a confidence building shoot too.
If you are thinking about booking please just book it... you won't regret it.

Been at Horrify Me multiple times over the last 4 years and I was never disappointed. Pre comms are always excellent and Rick is super responsive and insightful when agreeing on the theme of the photoshoot. As I did a vampire before, this time I really wanted to push on the grossness and gore: I was not disappointed. Rick and Raven - who joined us on the day as MUA - were impeccable. Both always super discrete and respectful of my boundaries. It took a lot of latex and a few hours, but I ended up looking like the crumply, ancient and beastly vampire I dreamt of becoming. The photos were sent quickly afterwards and Rick also took some BTS footage to be shared on social media. I can strongly recommend you visit, no one makes your nightmares come true like Horrify Me. Can't wait to be back!

I have been wanting to work with Rick for a few years now, and when the opportunity came along I grabbed it with both hands and took my daughter with me who wanted to eat my guts. I really didn't know what to expect or how it would work but I was blown away.
Rick is extremely professional and amazing at what he does, he talked to my daughter explaining every step and was fantastic at posing and guiding both of us, we felt so comfortable working with him and the images turned out better than I could have imagined!! I have also never tasted so much sugar in my life, and still smell the fake blood every time anyone near me is having syrup haha xxx

5/5 stars doesn't even do it justice! I had THE BEST experience from start to finish and cannot possibly recommend Rick enough! I booked in for a maternity vampire shoot and was so excited about the concept, but nervous about trying to pose etc while heavily pregnant. Rick was so caring, considerate and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. It was great fun, I had a really lovely day and the photos are absolutely incredible!
I'm so happy and will deffo be back again.

Blown away by the whole bloodied and gore-filled experience! Rick is an absolute master craftsman in the horror genre.
Our inner vampires were able to be well and truly unleashed. The shoot was everything we could have hoped for. Rick was so patient and calm, putting us instantly at ease. Time flew by whilst he worked his magic. There is no such thing as too much blood! The final images were far better than what we could have imagined.
Already planning what could happen next time, with Rick the sky's the limit when it comes to the stuff of nightmares. Be warned, things will get messy (but who would have it any other way?!).

I attended with the Athena Girls for a Halloween shoot. I had so much fun with the other girls and with Rick. I have never seen someone get so excited to cover people and props in fake blood, and to get weapons out for photos! The pictures were ready very fast and they look fantastic, I barely recognised myself. It has taken me a day to choose which photos I wanted. I felt very comfortable, not awkward at all, which was really nice. Rick gave clear instructions for what he wanted for the pictures and the overall experience was just so fun.

As a horror actress and TV presenter working in the industry for over 20 years (!) I have done hundreds of shoots with fantastic photographers, and the Horrify Me shoot ranks at the top - Seriously not only was it a huge amount of fun, I felt so comfortable, respected and liberated. Rick is incredible at gently directing you / the model to create the most elegant dramatic body positions. He really knows how to get the best out of you, I was amazed at the results. He creates real horror drama with his photos both facially and with your body, costume, fangs, horns and of course gallons of blood! He allows you to bring out your inner demon, animal, vampire and goddess. I WILL BE BACK!!!!!

Wow, I mean WOW. I had another fantastic shoot with Rick at the weekend, this time we explored my inner demon! What I love most is I had an idea (based on his previous work but wanted to make it unique); we all got together and blew it out of the park. I was happy with a pre/post injection demon but what we came away with is so much more story wise!
Rick's knowledge and vision is just top class, if you want to shoot horror he is your guy - and you don't have to be a model or have model experience. My sister came with us with the intention of being the extra that administered my injection, but she became an important cog in our story line with her own horrific journey revealed. She was nervous as she had never been on a shoot before, but Rick made her feel so relaxed and at ease, she was delighted to help out where she could and being more involved in the idea. He has a range of outfits, props and ideas to bring your creation vision to life. The SFX both he and Raven created looked so realistic, the petrol station stop on the way home turned some heads. I still can't believe how real the bruises, cuts and scarring looked, it really is a testament to their skills.
Rick is down to earth, full of fantastic ideas and such a lovely soul. Friendly, professional, courteous and just always looking out for everyone on the shoot, he is the best you will ever work with! If you are thinking about having a horror experience with crazy fun and fantastic images, please stop thinking and just get booked in! Don't think or worry about not having experience or that you won't know what to do, he will help you out with the direction needed to get that final OMG image! I promise you will not regret it.
Thank you Rick soooooo much, and Raven too, my sister and I had the best day and now we have the perfect keep sakes of a memory shared. We are already planning our next shoot and can't wait to be back in early 2024!

It was liberating to be myself and be someone else in opposite ways to what I'm used to. Playing a cartoonish witch gave me a chance to feel hideously ugly and have fun! Fantastic experience. Had a couples shoot with my husband and we are both not very comfortable in front of a camera. Rick put us at ease and directed us perfectly (we don't have a clue how to pose), so much so that we really enjoyed it. If you're a horror fan this is definitely something you should do.
