Wanna see something really scary? |
The "Extreme" version of vampires adds terrifying horror makeup to make the vampire look ancient, hungry, sickly, and wild. The makeup is similar to zombie makeup with rotten flesh and horrible skin. We get rid of the beautiful and seductive aspect of vampires and instead focus on aggressive scary poses and monstrous rage.
The preparation shown below is exactly the same as our classic vampire shoot, only the makeup element is different.

About this shoot
• You will be photographed as a gross, morbid vampire who stalks the night in search of human blood. As the shoot progresses we will add more blood until eventually the brutal savage vampire is revealed.
• You will be directed by the photographer into scary poses which will feature a lot of fake blood. As the shoot progresses, more blood will be added.
• Maximum x2 people. A solo shoot will feature you as the vampire and is the most common option. A two-person shoot will feature the second person as a victim.

Things you need to bring
• Suitable vampire clothing. You can wear anything you like in your vampire shoot but we suggest gothic, dark, smart, dressy clothing, corsets, suit jackets, and so on. Black is fine but red, purple, even white or cream can look stunning too so give these some thought. Lighter colours also photograph better and allow blood and gore to show up more. Just please be aware that you will end up getting fake blood on your clothing. We've found it does tend to wash out of most things but we make no guarantee and take no responsibility for damaged clothing.
• Props: Feel free to bring any appropriate props if you have any that you would like to use (optional).
• Eyes: You may bring your own eye contacts for scary eye effects if you want to (optional). We do not supply contacts.
• Please bring a towel for clean-up at the end.
Fangs
• We use "Scarecrow Fangs". We can provide these, however it might be a good idea if you purchase your own fangs, which you can set to fit your own teeth perfectly and of course you can take them back with you after the shoot. Scarecrow fangs are excellent and easy to purchase on the internet. However if you don't want to buy your own then we have fangs here which you can borrow for your shoot.

The makeup process
• Horrify Me will supply your fangs (unless you bring your own), as well as all the horror makeup and fake blood, so you will not need to bring any of this. If you have your own set of fangs then please feel free to bring them.
• The makeup is scary, tactile and realistic.

The shoot
• You will be guided throughout the shoot and instructed how to pose.
• As the shoot progresses, more blood gets added and the process gets very messy and gory.
• All the makeup and fake blood is completely safe. The blood is sugar-based and fully edible allowing for plenty of drooling and blood drinking.

Clean up
• At the end of the shoot you can clean up. Everything is harmless but certain parts might pull on your skin like a sticking plaster, or leave small traces of skin glue behind which will need to be washed off.
• You will be able to wash in the studio. Everything comes off pretty easily and you will be able to go home in fairly clean condition, although you might need a shower when you get home.

The photos
• Horrify Me conducts very comprehensive portrait shoots to really make the most of your session.
• You will do a variety of poses, either solo or with your victim. The process is great fun and the photos look like real horror movie stills.
